Telehealth Guide is an independent editorial publication and is not a healthcare provider or covered entity under HIPAA. This page describes how the telehealth-guide.com website collects and uses information. Telehealth Guide is a trade name of MR. RESURFACE, LLC.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We collect a small set of privacy-safe analytics data — page views, referrers, browser and device information from the request user-agent, timestamps, and structured events such as which category a user browsed, which comparison a user opened, and which outbound provider link a user clicked. We do not collect names, addresses, health information, or clinical data through this website. If you email us, we retain your email address and the contents of your message only for as long as needed to respond.

Search terms may be processed to route a visitor to a relevant care category. When a visitor voluntarily submits search feedback, we store the reported search phrase, any optional comment the visitor provides, the submission time, and the information necessary to prevent abuse and manage the editorial-review queue.

For abuse prevention and rate limiting we log request IP addresses (or a hashed derivative) and basic operational telemetry. This information is retained for a short operational window and is not combined with editorial data.

VOLUNTARY SEARCH FEEDBACK

Search feedback is optional. Please do not include names, contact details, medical-record information, prescription lists, or other sensitive personal information in feedback comments — feedback is reviewed by our editorial team.

COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

We use a small number of first-party cookies and local-storage keys to remember comparison selections and to fire de-duplicated privacy-safe analytics events. One of those local-storage keys is a randomly-generated anonymous browser identifier that persists across visits to help us count unique browsers and distinguish new from returning visitors in aggregate. It contains no name, email, IP address, or other personal information; it is not shared with third parties; it applies only to this website; and clearing your browser's site data removes it. Some affiliate networks may set cookies when you click an outbound provider link — those cookies are set by the destination network, not by Telehealth Guide.

SHARING

We do not sell personal information. We do not share information with providers we cover, except when an affiliate network attributes an outbound click as part of its own attribution model — no personal information is shared in that flow.

Provider destination sites and affiliate networks have their own privacy practices. When you click an outbound provider link you are leaving Telehealth Guide and become subject to the destination's own privacy notice.

RETENTION

Analytics events, comparison selections, and rate-limit logs are retained only for the operational window needed to serve their purpose. Voluntary search-feedback records are retained while the editorial review is open and are not held longer than needed for editorial follow-up. Email correspondence is retained for the period needed to respond. Specific retention windows are set by MR. RESURFACE, LLC and may be requested via the address below.
